At Sharon Heaton Coaching, I do not offer your typical weight loss coaching that centres largely around diet and exercise goals and aimed at clients who typically want to lose maybe 20 or 30 pounds; instead I offer specialist coaching for clients who are significantly overweight - whether that's 4 stones, 8 stones, 12 stones or more. My approach is a more holistic approach that sees the excess body weight and associated eating habits as symptoms of something much deeper. Having once weighed almost 27 stone myself, I truly understand how it is to struggle with your weight and eating, and how frustrating it can be when you try your hardest, but still can't get to grips with things, and are often viewed by others as not caring or not trying hard enough. I want you to know that you are not a failure - you just haven't been given adequate tools to make long-term changes possible.

Just as we know that every person is different, and everybody has their own palate in terms of the foods they enjoy and the tastes and textures that they can tolerate; everyone also has their own unique set of triggers, habits, and drivers that influence when they eat, what they eat, and how much they eat. By working with me you will use different approaches to start to identify the things that drive you to eat, understand where they're coming from, and armed with that knowledge we can look at starting to resolve certain issues and modify other behaviours in order make changes that will serve you better, and produce lasting results.
Whether you prefer to work from the comfort of your home using Zoom, or in person with face to face appointments (available in Haslingden, just north of Manchester), working on a one to one basis allows for a flexible tailored approach that can really help you to make strides towards your goals. Wherever you feel you're at with your relationship with food and your desire for a better life, we can work together and decide your next steps, in the confidence that you'll be guided and supported all the way. Sessions usually last around 50 minutes and you will be set tasks each week to consolidate our work from the sessions and help you to keep moving forwards and making progress.

Once you have an idea of what the work involves, it's important that you have the opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for what working together would be like, so I always offer potential clients the opportunity to email or chat on Zoom prior to booking any sessions.
The prices below are for coaching sessions for individual clients. Prices for family work and professional services will vary according to the work involved and will be discussed upon request.

Bringing you the same workbooks and resources as the 'Lasting Success' programme, but with a more streamlined, level of support, this option is designed to help anyone who has yo-yo dieted to look at weight loss and weight management from a completely different angle, and transform how they tackle their eating habits.
For some of us, the idea of a long videocall fills us with dread, or just isn't practical for our lifestyles, and that's absolutely fine! We realise that Zoom calls aren't for everyone, and do our best to accommodate our clients' needs. We can still offer a tailored approach via text, online chat, or even email if that is your preferred choice of communication.
